I agree that the academy doesnt appreciate action movies.& the dark knight probobly should have been nominated for best picture over, say, the reader of button.Benjamin Button was overrated too.& im pretty sure no one really liked Vicky Christina Barcelona that much, but i think Penelope Cruz was kind of awesomely psychotic in it.& the reason i think TDK was overrated is because its not as good as people make it sound, i liked it, i thought it was really good, but i dont think it was GREAT, or the BEST by any means.But, thats just me...

I would rate this higher than Slumdog. I do not trust the academy. It seems they give the awards to any slime who makes the movie most people have never heard of and will never see or care about...ahem...Vicky Christina Barcelona?? How does Woody Allen keep getting a paycheck? Ugh...will they ever learn that most of us see movies like that as a good reason to stop watching the awards show?

i thought it was good.not great, but really good.i still dont think that ledger deserved the oscar.and... i thought it was overrated.but i still liked it.

The joker will have a cameo in "Supermax", which will be the first Green Arrow film. The plot is that the Green Arrow is arrested and sent to the super-prison that holds all the super-baddies.

In the next batman they should at least show the joker being released in the end - showing the continuous feud between him and batman.

Yeah. Ledger's character is a more explained one, he is a psycho (like you said). This movie shows why he is the greatest villain of all time and should never be "killed off" like he was in the original movie.

I think that Nicholson's Joker was good maybe even great at the time. But Ledger played the Joker as such a phyco path and I really enjoyed that he had no origin like he did in the first Batman. The fact that he has no reason to do what he dose make him that much more interesting and freighting. Now you could argue that that is writing and you would be correct to an extent but you have to be a Damn good actor to pull that part off at all!
