TV shows like CSI or any other "procedural" drama seems to do the same. Even the X-Files was bad about introducing something and then forgetting about it. The reason I like Fringe so much is they have gone back to old shows and acknowledge what has happened (even if it is in different universes or time lines or however you want to put it).
Half the time I'm working on this very website while something in the the background is playing and I'm half-paying attention - but that's the nature of those shows, it seems. There are very few that hold my complete attention.
As for zombies -- I'm old-school Romero - slow, methodical, unrelenting death - they wear you down with sheer numbers, not because they can sprint like Usain Bolt. To stop them, kill the brain (again) and if you're bit, you're toast (none of this amputation nonsense like The Walking Dead likes to preach). But I still like the various ways other directors and authors tackle the subject, including some who go way too deep into the science behind zombies. |

Oh, CSI at the top of my list, plus all the characters are "movie star" gorgeous and they're always in danger. Those are my top pet peeves for any show, also, I hate whining and kvetching! Had to drop watching Supernatural 'cause all those boys did was cry 'bout their daddy! Still watching but not crazy bout-Being Human, those guys especially need to shut up! At least they've got cool supernatural powers to play with! Have you seen "Exit Humanity"? it's low budget but done pert good, and has somewhat plausible theory that is 'splained. Also enjoyed "Enter Nowhere". Have you any sleepers you could suggest?
