Not as much of a disappointment as anticipated, but this sequel is forgettable, and solely reliant on cameos that are forced and not funny.

I have not watched the first Zoolander. I hope it is at least better than this steaming pile of crappy writing, acting, directing, celebrity cameos, and outdated pop culture references.

one of the worst movies i have ever seen, could it be any worst. not funny. its just a cameo look at me. make it up as we go along scene after scene. its not a proper movie. total rubbish not even worthy of a proper review. sad and desperate movie

'Zoolander 2' can be ranked amongst the ever-growing list of disappointing comedy sequels. It may not have come close to obtaining the charming weird irreverence of the first, but I have definitely seen worse. What works in this continuation is the returning characters. Stiller and Wilson still make a great comedic duo as Derek and Hansel. They managed to make even the dumbest jokes in this movie seem funny just from their performances. The humor is very hit-and-miss, but some of the hits did make me laugh out loud. There were a handful of individual moments that retained the qualities I find endearing about the superbly dumb original film. That said, most of the new material does not land. Outside of one or two glorified (and strange) cameos, the new cast offers very little. …

Braucht die Welt eine Fortsetzung von Zoolander? 20 Minuten lang lautet die Antwort: Nein. Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller), das Model mit dem gesenkten Kopf und den stahlblauen Augen ("Blue Steel") trauert. Früher konnten diese Augen sogar Dolche im Flug bannen, aber diese Fähigkeit hat Zoolander verloren, seit seine Frau starb.
