Some may think it's a little stuffy, but "A Room With a View" is a real charmer. The ensemble cast holds this period drama together, and the story is easy to get sucked into.

A film with nice settings nice characters and nice dialogue nothing else can really be said of it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it nor is it the best film like this you will watch. But it is enjoyable even though you may not think about it for too long after seeing it, due to its very standard story. Howard's end is better thanks to its more complex story. Pros: Completely respectable performances, good scenery, and fine dialogue. Cons: Plot has little to it and it is nothing special.

A wonderful, wonderful movie. The actors are brilliant (and Helena Bonham Carter is also incredibly beautyful here) and the adaption from the book is done perfectly.
