Plot: When an astronaut tapped to man the first flight to Mars is injured, NASA replaces him with hapless spacecraft designer Fred Z. Randall. Teamed with a brash commander, a proficient mission specialist and a trained chimp, Randall nearly brings down the mission with his ineptitude.

Most of the movie is pretty dumb, but Harland Williams's energy occasionally breathes life into the stale humor.
