For any competitive athlete who has dreams of greatness, this movie should be in their top three of all time. It's a feel good tearjerker which also gives a pretty decent panorama of one of the guys who brought about the running craze of the 70s. Undersized and feisty, 'Pre' became one of the greatest mid' distant runners in World History by his early twenties. Leto is truly awesome in this role. The interviews with those close to him mixed with what is convincingly real 'Pre' footage makes you feel like you were there. My only real criticism is they didn't highlight how awesome he was in Cross Country as well. This is the 'Rudy' of track!

Pretty excellent biography - even if you didn't run track, it's a fascinating look into perseverance and inspiration. You can gain insight no matter what you do in your life - it's that good. If only every biography could reach this level, the world would be a better place.

This movie always makes me feel lazy and gives me motivation to get off my butt and run. Jarrod Leto is great and the story is fantastic.
