Office Space is a brilliant workplace satire from the master of sarcastic comedy, Mike Judge. The film manages to craft a charming love story, while, at the same time, skewering every nuance of white collar workplace life. The (at the time) unknown cast has excellent chemistry and timing and the film's dry brand of comedy is instantly quotable. |

Got under my skin. I've watched it several times. Many familiar things for people in boring jobs to nod at. |

Office Space review |
|
We sometimes can relate to Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) frustrations of having a boss such as Bill Lumbergh (Gary Cole. Luckily he finds Joanna (Jennifer Aniston), who has similar distaste for lousy management and Kung-Fu movies. Peter’s friends Samir Nagheenanajad (Ajay Naidu) and Michael Bolton (David Herman) share the same sentiments with Initech’s mismanagement. Both were part of the company’s downsizing while Peter gets promoted for sharing his candor of office problems. The three create a virus to divert fraction of pennies to a bank account; unfortunately, an erroneous decimal point has affected a massive loss in the company. A very disgruntled and abused employee puts the office on fire. Some good lines: Peter – “We don't have a lot of time on this earth. We weren't meant ... |

"Office Space" is a hilarious tale of one man's frustration with working in an office cubicle. Anyone who has ever worked in an office will find something to relate to in this movie. Although it was never a box office hit, "Office" has gained quite a following over the years due to its clever dialogs, quirky characters, and true-to-life situations that we've all experienced while working in an office. Ron Livingston does an outstanding job as the "everyman" Peter Gibbons, who constantly rants about how much he hates his job, his boss, and his life! The lovely Jennifer Aniston is charming as Peter's love interest Joanna, who has her own share of work-related frustrations as a waitress in a "crap food" restaurant. Gary Cole is absolutely hilarious as Peter's passive-aggressive boss Bill Lum... |
