I love the fact that Chevy Chase can do whatever stupid shit he thinks would benefit his family and yet, his family goes along with it! lol. Great movie!
Classic, classic, classic. Everyone needs to see this one. Chase is so funny as the good-hearted, well-intentioned, bumbling family man, Clark Griswold.
The sequels are still pretty good, but the original vacation is probably the best National Lampoons trip movie. Chevy Chase is at his best as the head of the Griswold family where going on a vacation is its own comedy adventure.
A classic comedy that I think every family in America has sat down and watched together at least 2349872563487563487 billion times. This film can always make me laugh even when I know what's coming. Checy Chase is hilarious, but he was at his best in this film.
