Plot: Television news reporter James Russell exposes small-time criminal Franklin Hatchett for a story, which gets Hatchett arrested. While in transit to prison, Hatchett gets cuffed to jewel thief Raymond Villard. In an escape attempt, Villard's cronies blow up the prisoner-transport vehicle and kill two cops. Hatchett then seeks Russell's help to prove his innocence.

Buddy action-comedy pairing Chris Tucker and Charlie Sheen as a petty criminal and a news reporter respectfully who team up to solve a murder case. There is one good action scene at the beginning of the movie, but the rest of it looks cheap and sloppy. Chris Tucker has some pretty funny lines and is watchable enough. But Charlie Sheen looked kind of bored.

The only reason this movie got an extra half star was because ther is a guy eating a tootsie pop whilst shooting a rocket launcher. That is just funny!!!!
