It's kind of funny, at times. Other times it's just mediocre.

I remember Sandra Bullock played a geek. At least she was young.

This is the first movie I remember seeing Sandra Bullock in, and I thought she did a terrific job. Paul (Tate Donovan) is more than a bit geeky and his dating life could be described on a very small piece of note paper. So his friends do what any good friends would do -- send him to Madame Ruth (Anne Bancroft in a nice small role) who has supernatural connections. The result? A love potion that makes it impossible for the opposite sex to resist him. Its a good film for its time, and it was cool to see where Sandra Bullock got her start, the movie is fairly funny, and over all one that you can see a few times over.
