'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' takes every action/comedy film cliche and completely flips it around, resulting in a lot of humor and a lot of fun. This is the only film director Shane Black has ever actually directed, he lives and works as a screenplay writer, writing for movies like Lethal Weapon and Last Action Hero, two very funny action-comedies. He's familiar with the material and works well with humor through 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang', but he also does a great job at actually kind of making fun of all the other action films released yearly. We are introduced by our narrarator, whom is Harry Lockhart (Robert Downey Jr.), who is also our main character. A self aware comedy

A zany, entertaining comic thriller, however the entire set-up and screenplay is chock full of in-jokes and is constantly self-aware that its originality and surprises are limited; it has its moments and Michelle Monaghan is fun. FInal Grade: C+

Love Love, Watch Watch

The best movie of 2005 that you never saw. If you like Val Kilmer, watch this film. If you like Robert Downey Jr., watch this film. If you like film noir, watch this film. If you like dark comedy, watch this film. If you like voiceover, watch this film. I can keep going. If you like how Briget Moynihan looks, watch this movie. All told it shows that Shane Black still has it.
