I haven't seen this movie in years and I remembered watching it a lot as a kid, but one in scene that always stood with me is "the tree scene" where Van Dame's character kicks a tree with his leg until it breaks. It looked so painfully that I felt it.

Vann Damme movies always have a certain theme to them. The villains are irredeemable scum who commit grievous offense after offense to Van Damme's character or another innocent. This time, a champion Kick Boxer cripples Van Damme's brother, kills his dog, kidnaps his master, and rapes his girlfriend. Van Damme does not take all of this lightly, and delivers one of the worst and most relentless beatings in film history.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the movie that first got me into Van Damme.
