Lucky Lilo, Unlucky Script

This movie was incredibly bad. I mean, this was the start of Lindsay Lohan's downfall. Avoid at all cost unless you are trying to do pennance, atoning for an incredibly horrific sin (if you are Catholic). Otherwise, I can't see why you would see this movie.

Review - Just My Luck (2006)

Ashley Albright (Lindsay Lohan) was the luckiest girl in the world. Jake Hardin (Chris Pine) was the unluckiest boy in the world. When these two locked lips at a party, their luck changed in “Just My Luck.”

For a movie with such an interesting plot, the writing for this movie is nowhere near up to par. I didn’t really expect much, and not much is what I got. The story is flawed even by its own rules which are never really understandable in the first place. I know it’s not a “thinking” movie, but they could have spent a little more time on the story.

The real problem is that this film is a one trick pony. The first half hour of the movie is set-up that could be done in five minutes, and the rest of the movie is the same thing only opposite for an hour. In the end it plays out in a cl...
