There were a lot of people that knocked this movie and I can see why... but honestly I liked it, and I thought it was really funny. Ryan Reynolds is one of those guys that likes to take his character and give them a cutesy look all the while he has this smarmy sarcastic go f-yourself personality. Its funny because he can smile at someone and say something very insulting and the way he says it people don't quite know that they have been insulted.
In this he plays Chris Brander, a guy that was best friends with the hottest girl in school, the only problem is that he was really fat and she had locked him in the "Friend Zone" meaning that no matter what he did there was no way he was going to get any closer than best friends.
