You know the director of this movie, well he's son actually went to make Juno years later. This movie is just dull as sh't and thinking Arnold Schwarzenegger as a pregnant would be funny but it is not.

All I can say is that a pregnant Schwarzenegger is actually rather more believable than the idea of Schwarzenegger as a scientific genius.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to make a movie about Arnold Schwarzenegger getting pregnant should get a medal... then get shot. It's utterly baffling and at the same time you can't look away. Best just to relegate this to the dust bin of history, or taunt the former governator with clips of him giving birth.

This movie was very funny at the time it came out so I can't give it a low rating. However, as time passed it just became more and more awkward...because Arnold Schwarzenegger is pregnant in it.

Good script, though scientifically impossible

"Dr. Alexander 'Alex' Hesse" (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and "Dr. Larry Arboghast" (Danny DeVito) are in the process of early experimentation on "Expectane", a drug designed to aid women who cannot bring a pregnancy to term.

When the two bring their findings to the FDA, they are turned down -- possibly because "Arboghast" was very blunt with them. Upon hearing this, the head of the Science Department of the university (Frank Langella) where the experiments on "Expectane" are taking place kick them out of the lab they are using, and give it to "Dr. Diana Reddin" (Emma Thompson), who is somewhat of a klutz at times. She is doing a study on frozen eggs, one of which is her own that she has named "Junior."

After being turned down by the FDA, and kicked out of the lab, "Hess" leaves for a ...
