Misses the point and action of the book and it's kind of a bore, sadly. No filmmaker has yet been able to capture the humanity and ferocity of Rudyard Kipling's great book.

The Jungle Book is a nice family movie. The writes do a good job with a pretty simple story and make it an interesting full length movie. The live animals were used quite well in the movie and really added to the story. Personally I prefer this to the Disney version
