Such a fun movie. Putting aside from their hilarious antics, pranks, painful and gross episodes; this movie really shows the friendships of these guys. It is hilarious and is a buddy movie for the ages. Who doesnt want to go back in time with all of your buddies and act like jackasses? |

I'm sorry, but I just don't see any entertainment value in watching a bunch of bored, middle class white yobs injure themselves and each other. Moronic. |

The jump to big screen was a good one. Though, the film is structured exactly like a much longer episode of the show, it manages to sustain it's running time and provide some good laughs and shock. |

Just one of the most obnoxious, crazy and hilarious films created. In actuality, this really doesn't have any story, plot, cinematography or even a score. The cast has the most tolerance in pain and with an eclectic personality. Everybody plays their part on each scene. This is even better than most comedies. A parody of sorts with idiotic scenes only these guys could pull off. It is refreshing to view this type of concept despite of its vulgar content. If you want obscene, boisterous yet funny sequences if your down, pop this in and you will not regret. |

There's a weird art to the way a group of friends films themselves inflicting pain and humiliation on each other. Yes, it's stupid, but, yes, it's also very funny. |

Silly? Dumb? Meaningless? Yes Jackass surely is, but that is exactly why I like it. Throw your movie knowledge aways and return to the mind set when you were in highschool. You fool around with and bunch of friends and play silly things. That is the feeling this movie gave me. I feel like was around with a bunch of crazy friends, doing some crazy stunts. You laugh along with the Jackass guys as if you were one of them, and like going back to become a kid again. Dont take it so seriously or bash it with adult perspective. Be a 18 year old kid again.
And RIP Ryan Dunn. |
