Good drama and wonderful dog fights. Iron Eagle was an alternative to the ever popular Top Gun. Louis Gosset Jr. lifts the spirits up for this flick. Iron Eagle shines rises, had a few lessons too.

There is nothing better than a movie about a group of kids working with a 'retired' military pilot;to steal equipment and plans from an airfoce base and rescue one kids dad. This is a story that could have only been written in the 80's; but it works. It has heart, it has fun, it has a great cast (Shawnee Smith before she did the SAW movies). And you can't leave out Louis Gossett Jr. Great flight sequence to Queens 'One Vision' as well.
