Very cool flick. The ensemble cast are led by Victoria Foyt, Rob Morrow, Lee Grant and Bruce Davison. Foyt is magnificent as store owner Holly Gilmore who’s trying to save her store. Holly goes through some gyrations as a shop owner, mother, friend, girlfriend, etc. Foyt flexes her acting muscles in one scene in particular. Funny stuff. I saw this film with my boyfriend and he said he really learned some things about women and shopping as a result of the interviews which Jaglom interspersed throughout the film. Jaglom’s improvisational directing style really works here giving the actors own words and experiences real authenticity. A fun film to watch.
