A crafty heist thriller that deserves credit for its inventive approach to the overused formula.

Tense and disturbing - while our trio of robbers aren't what I would call Ivy League scholars, questionable decisions aside, Don't Breathe is a great home invasion thriller. Plus, Stephen Lang makes for a badass villain, with a nasty secret and one mean dog. The perfect Halloween treat.

One of the most pointless, ignorant, awful movies I've ever seen. A shameless rip off of the People Under the Stairs, but with less suspense, less acting, just less. It was quite nonsense how a blind man is a threat to these teenagers. Only if they managed to be horror movie incompetent could he be a threat. For example, he is completely oblivious to them while they cower in fear, why not hit him in the head? Stick a knife in him? The twist was dumb as hell, it was not even a twist really, I fully expected it. Avoid this film, is a waste I wouldn't watch even if it were free. Critic giving this a good score are lying.

Don't Breathe

***Spoilers Ahead, Maybe*** Don't Breathe wasn't as good as I hoped or thought it would be.The best thing thing about this movie was the trailer. When I saw it, I thought that movie looks awesome. It's what made me want to see Don't Breathe in the 1st place. After watching the movie I was disappointed. It was nothing spectacular & it wasn't something I'd add to my GARBAGE list either but I felt like I was watching it just to be watching it.Right from the start when the 3 teens were breaking into the 1st house they broke into & Money was masturbating onto the floor, I thought how stupid is that? What was the point? Was this suppose to show he was the idiot of the group? Is he that stupid that he doesn't know by doing that, he's leaving his DNA at the scene which could be traced back to him & …

I don’t know what to say about this one. The premise was good. It gave a fresh take on the home invasion suspense thriller but just didn’t deliver as anticipated. The acting was fine and Stephen Lang plays the role of the blind man well but the character depth and development was poor in my opinion.

The story goes like this. A group of three friends Rocky, Alex, and Money rob houses as a means to make money by breaking into the houses that Alex’s father’s security company secured. Rocky’s dream is to gather enough stolen money and to move to California with her little sister and to leave their troubled home.

After Money gets a tip on a particular house containing $300,000, owned by an blind, ex-marine whose daughter was killed in a car accident by a well-off young woman, …

DON'T BREATHE is an effective and suspenseful thriller that utilizes its high concept premise to its full potential. though it might become too disturbing and unsettling for some viewers. Stephen Lang delivers a frightening performance as a blind man whose house is broke into by three teens. Little do they know that it's freaking Stephen Lang and he turns the tables despite being blind thanks to his heightened senses and fearsome military skills.
It continues the trend for the summer of 2016 where smaller B-movies succeed while high profile blockbusters fail. Why? Because this film and others like it such as The Shallows or Lights Out or 10 Cloverfield Lane remember the 3 basics of filmmaking: good writing, acting, and directing.
The film is noteworthy in that there is actually …
