Considering their choices recently, perhaps Vin Diesel and The Rock need to make a cutesy family comedy together for their next film. This is sickly sweet, but not quite gag-inducing Disney family film. Could have been worse. |

Good Family Movie |
|
I actually thought this was one of the cutest movies I have ever seen. I have to disagree with other commentary. I don't think the producers went into this saying "This is going to be an instant classic!" This was just supposed to be fun and cute and make you laugh at some points and go "aww" at others. I liked watching him evolve from this bachelor who doesn't know what to do with this kid to a father who begins to fall in love with his daughter. Its cute. |

Rock Bottom |

Seeing Dwayne the rock Johnson going soft is not a pretty sight I tell you. This one is probably the worst movie he’s ever made. It suck in the beginning, it sucked in middle and definitely sucked through the end. I was kind of expecting a typical “The Rock” butt kicking action. But instead I got a mushy comedy that is pretty much senseless. No nothing what so ever new to the table for the audience to see. It’s like mixing Big Daddy with The Longest Yard minus the comedy. I don’t know I really wasn’t feeling The Rock’s persona in this film. That is why to me The Game plan failed to deliver the goods. They even reused the same old joke from The Longest yard (this is when The Rock huddles his team like Sandler did in that movie). I guess overall I was bored to death and time inside the thea... |
