The series was just straight up camp from here on. This one is still kind of fun today. The black humor is a nice touch.

This is the high point in the later Friday sequels. The story is still unbelievable, but at least they capture that old slasher magic and the real Jason returns. Not quite a return to the beloved slasher of old, but close enough.
