Al Pacino proves he's still got it in this redemption story about a man with fortune and fame wanting to start again.

Al Pachino gives a warm and charismatic performance as the aged singer Danny Collins. His inspired late-life turnaround to give back to those around him is worth investing in. However, the directions that the story take dampen that experience. He is a shining light throughout, while the movie doesn't satisfy.
