A plane crash leaves a group of people stranded in the Mongolian desert with no hope of rescue, dwindling supplies and a group of bandits watching their every move. Their only hope seems an impossibility - to build a new aircraft from the wreckage of the old plane. -- Chris aka Tarkin

While this doesn't work as a pure action film (too much talking dang it!), it does have some tense moments and fairly decent acting. No one is going to win any awards from this film, but it is entertaining enough to watch.

The special-effects are a big star here; the sequence of the plane flying into the storm, losing it's propeller and eventually crashing are thrilling and exciting to watch! As they start to rebuild the plane into a flyable unit, I liked to see the emotions and conflicts among the survivors and how they come together to overcome the desert and the forces of nature. The directing and camera movement added a more realistic touch, making the movie more realistic and "gritty". Also an excellent soundtrack really...
