Autobiographical jungle picture about actress Joan Lowell exploring Central America with her sea-captain father and crew. The photography looks very good and the actual adventure itself is pretty exciting. But the voice-over narration as if it's a documentary is very tacky and takes away from the movie. Some nice footage of wildlife in its habitat and cool location shots of Mayan ruins are included. This could had been a feature length dramatization instead of the silly half-half of a 'melodrama meets docudrama' that we got.
