Plot Outline:
|
Terrorists hijack a 747 bound for Washington D.C. in order to release their leader. Intelligence expert David Grant thinks there's a more sinister plot going on and joins a commando team for a mid-air operation before the plane can land.

Decent cast in a very formulaic thriller that's basically Die Hard on a plane, but I'll give it an extra half star for killing Steven Seagal! |

I felt this film had a good cast with a weak plot and lousy pace in story telling. The only thing interesting was the high tech jet fighter called The Stealth. One of the biggest disappointments in the action genre, wasting Seagal's character in the early portions of the film. Could have been way better if it was well written and having likable characters. Executive Decision was an executive pain to watch. Deciding on viewing this in a theater was clearly a mistake. |

A so-so action film that is plenty intense but still leaves me wanting more. The plot is interesting enough and Kurt Russell is a good choice to lead, but I can't help feel that there's something missing to make it truly memorable. |
