Jude Law gives a charismatic and entertaining performance. He plays an angry, volatile, self-riotous man who is brought down to earth. Dom Hemingway is an interesting fellow. The rest of the film is not so much. Sure, the story steers clear of the usual cliches, but it is essentially aimless. We are set-up to see a man fall on hard times and then rise again in a new light. That doesn't happen. The second half squanders all promise of the first. What's left is a downward decline in investment. Dramatic situations that could make for an interesting turn in the story show up every scene and are immediately thrown away. The ending makes the rest feel like a waste. Could've been much more.

jude law is fantastic in this movie such great acting as a criminal released from prison after 12 years and is out to get the money he is owed for keeping silent. The dialogue is great if a bit over the top. The story is very simple and doesn't go how you expect or hope and ends before you feel it began but everything else is good so its hard to knock it to much. jude law is getting better and better its a shame he was wasted in such a weak story. if it wasn't for law i would probably give it a low score but he carries the film and raises it with his performance . worth watching yes . but wont be for everyone.

This movie is a big rip-off of the movie called filth because the main character in the movie was crazy , weird and loves sexy just like Bruce from filth. The movie was not funny and the movie is boring at some parts.
