Not in the league of Almost Famous, I still found myself liking this romantic comedy/drama from Crowe. The acting is adequate, the themes are heavy and redundant but the soundtrack is perfect. It's far too sweet, but still enjoyable.

How dare a movie be good starring Bloom and Dunst

Quirky, unconventional dramedy about lonely, likable protagonists finding solace with each other during some depressing times; director Cameron Crowe seems to deeply understand his characters, even though at times, he seems not to care about them. Final Grade: B

WORST IN HISTORY

Cameron Crowe was sitting around one day and said what could be the worst possible story with the worst possible actors, with the worst possible accents. I want to make this film! I want to torture my audience! Sorry CC, but your efforts aren't appreciated.
