Plot Outline:

Marv Marinovich raised his son, Todd, to be the perfect quarterback. The "bionic kid" had a very spartan life - working out, eating right and everything controlled. Yet this also meant that once he was given a chance to be on his own, first at USC and later on The Raiders NFL team, he butted heads, acted out and ultimately fell to drug use as the pressure to be perfect mounted. -- Chris Kavan

Just goes to show that even if you think you have the perfect plan, even a person molded to be a quarterback can crumble under the extreme pressure put on him. Todd Marinovich is a cautionary tale about good intentions going bad under such scrutiny.
