Plot: College kids travel to a small mountain town to interview the author of a book about several grisly murders that happened there. But the author is nowhere to be found and the townspeople say the killer never existed and the murders never happened.

This is kind of like a mix of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Blair Witch - but it never reaches those lofty dreams and just meanders along. The pacing is terrible and the acting semi-tolerable. Even the deaths are kind of boring. All in all - unless you are supremely bored (like I was), don't bother.

This low-budget indie backwoods slasher did nothing but bore me. The set-up was tediously long, the mysterious circumstances were uninteresting, and there was an overabundance of the 'shaky-cam' technique. The actual slayings (which don't happen until the last 20 min) were about the only slightly entertaining bits of the whole film.
