I'm not sure exactly how to review this movie. Is it a rap concert? or a documentary? So I'll just call it a Rapumentary(it's cheesy, i know). Chappelle is funny(of course) and some of the rappers are good(my favorites are: Common, Dead Prez, Mos Def and Kanye West). But there's a 20 minute scene that focuses on a very boring subject(you'll see what i mean) and it drains a lot of the fun for this movie. if you can deal with the scene i'm referring to, you'll love this "movie", but if you can't, you'll be disappointed. and plus, there just isn't enough dave!

An uneven documentary, but it's chock full of richly-observed character sketches and full-bodied music. FInal Grade: B

The music scenes, we're great. Especcially the reunion of the Fugees. However, The rest of the movie was very low-budget. Pretty good, just not great.
