Dark Water has to be the most predictable and the most forgettable horror movie I've seen in years. Jennifer Connelly dose a solid performance in the movie but that's really it.

Dark Water has an Interesting story that is weighed down because it just gets weirder and weirder as it goes along. It is not scary, just creepy. and suffers from a huge let down of an ending. Jennifer Connelly is very good in her performance, yet, she is out-done by little Ariel Gade, giving a really good performance as her daughter and a fun John C. Reilly as a maintenance man. The film is never boring, just unsatisfying.

I love Jennifer Connelly but this movie was horrible. One of the only movies I almost walked out of in the theater. What is it with the writer K?ji Suzuki. Do all his books have child abandonment plots involving drowning?

Something is lacking - I like the cast and the plot works well, but it still feels like something is missing. I just couldn't get into this film no matter how hard I tried. Maybe I was spoiled by the original.
