In game six of the 2003 NLCS, the Cubs have a 3-0 against the Marlins when a ball hit into foul territory is falling into the glove of Moises Alou when a fan reaches out and disrupts the play. With Alou fuming, the Marlins go on to win the game, and the NLCS and the entire city turns on Steve Bartman, the fan who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Director Alex Gibney, himself at the game at the time, looks back and examines how one man came to symbolize a curse, comparing him to another sports scapegoat, Bill Buckner. -- Chris Kavan
