Not as bad as the works of Seltzer and Friedberg - mainly due to the involvement of veteran parodist David Zucker - Scary Movie 5 is still fatuous drivel with a sense of humour British sex comedies would tut at. I'd give it a one out of four if not for the fact that I thought Simon Rex, who had roles in the previous two films, elevated the film with some wonderful comedic timing. Still, it's better than Scary Movie 2.
