A brilliant concept mediocrely executed. Nowhere near as funny as it could have been, but still mildly entertaining.

There are spots of sly humor, but most of the film is devoted to poorly CGI'd animated pets and obvious jokes. Clearly geared more for children and doesn't deliver on any other level.

I don't know who came up with the idea for this movie originally, but they should be banned from doing anything in the film industry ever again. This is one sorry excuse for a movie. The director also did Son of the Mask. How is this guy still getting work?
