Bounce isn't really a movie that I would call a great movie. It's not the worst I have ever seen, but it could have been considerably better. The story was somewhat unique but by the time you get to the end of the movie there doesn't seem to be any magic left. Yeah most people say that Affleck is a poor actor, honestly I didn't think he was horrible in this, he doesn't make the best drama lead but he also doesn't completely flop the part either. Paltrow is decent as usual. Overall I wouldn't go out of my way to rent this one, but I might watch it if it were on tv and there was nothing more entertaining on at the time.

Buddy's (Ben Affleck) flight to LA was delayed due to a snow storm in Chicago. He converses with Greg Janello (Tony Goldwyn) and Mimi (Natasha Henstridge) to pass the time. Buddy gives his ticket to Greg with the aid of a ticketing agent named Janice Guerrero (Jennifer Grey). Greg's wife Abby Janello (Gwyneth Paltrow) discovers the unfortunate demise of her husband and encounters Buddy. Paltrow shows promise and Affleck descent despite the lackluster screenplay. The premise of lying from the start was evident and it was baffling how everything still worked out in the end despite the characters actions. Having a guilty conscience and falling in love just don't mix, and in the picture it seemed possible to forget the former. Bounce could have been effective if executed properly.
