Starts out strong with a smarmy protagonist who gets wrapped up in a shady firm ran more like a long con than a legit business. It plays with the moral ambiguity well enough for the first two-thirds. But then it tries to grow a conscience that feels unnatural. The cast is good as some pretty slimy stockbrokers.

Ribisi is great in this movie, as is Vin Diesel. This is a really good guy-finds-himself-involved-in-something-criminal movie. Thought the acting was great and the story good. It kept me engaged and entertained.

Owes a debt of gratitude to the superior Wall Street (which it acknowledges by featuring the greed speech in the film). It is a better-than average good guy/bad guy drama - but not great. The cast is perfect, though.
