The story is a natural progression of the first 'Kung Fu Panda'. Everything else is basically more of the same. The fights are inventive and there's a few funny moments. I found it to be an exact same viewing experience as the previous flick, and I considered that one to be just okay. |

With the threat of stopping Kung Fu in China, Po who just got Kung Fu is now to defend Kung Fu. With the help of the Furious Five, they have to defeat the evil peacock.

I haven't seen the first one, but I definitely liked this sequel! Funny and smooth actions! Plus, that Panda is really CUTE! Didn't expect so much humor, but the movie offered a lot of it. And what really kicks in this movie is the good story and the morale. I thought it was a parable, seriously.

The Furious 5 and Po are back for another adventure. The action and humor never fails, I just felt the first installment was way better. Baby Po was so cute, love that scene of him growing up and finding out his history. Some of the scenes were unnecessary and a bit dragging. We see a more experienced Po (Jack Black) in terms of knowledge and kung-fu skills. The scenery were beautiful and all, the story/script could have been improved. Peacock was a good addition to the franchise. Based on the ending, there might be plans of a 3rd chapter. Hope it would be better, if not the best of the bunch. |

More enjoyable this time round! |

After watching the first instalment, which i found just ok, i was really surprised on how much better the second one was. Upon hearing that Dreamworks were making part 2 to this i was pretty much adamanant about not seeing with little and no interest at all on the project. That's where both of my kids come into play as they dragged me off to see it and boy have never been more glad that they did! Panda 2 has way more action with a much better more thought out storyline then its predecessor. The Furious 5 are back with a vengeance along with Poe (Voiced by Jack Black) who has recieved way more training in martial arts then ever before! He now lives his dream as a dragon warrior. Welcome back to the world of panda after 2 years. After the completion of Kungfu panda part 1 we did had a doubt? Who really is the father of the panda? What is his origin? This movie answers those questions with pin point precision. Kungfu panda 2 is really the coolest animation movie with deep emotional content along with awesomeness in finding the real action scenes with loads of special effects.
Dreamworks entertainment is bringing back the franchise. With the same cast and a new addition as Lord Shen played by Gary Oldman. The movie has a strong script that touches both the evil side of Lord Shen and the emotional side in the main character Po played by Jack Black. The numbers are a little low, but I still think this is going to be worth a watch. I know I would choose this over Cars 2 personally. |

While I'm not saying the first film was the pinnacle of animation, I did enjoy it. This second entry is getting pretty good reviews so while I may not see it in theaters, I'm thinking this will end up a solid rental. |
