Spacey is captivating as singer Bobby Darin and the film manages to be a quasi-musical, while still retaining powerful moments of drama. Spacey as the director paints a very creative and captivating visual pallete. I absolutely loved this film and not just because "Beyond the Sea" is an awesome song.

A very good introduction to Bobby Darin's music. Unfortunately, it didn't do so well. Of course 40 something Kevin Spacey is playing 20/30 something Bobby Darin. Oh well. I still liked it.
