A well-intentioned film that never really goes anywhere. We have Orson's historical staging of Julius Caesar which is interesting to watch. We have a solid performance from McKay as Welles himself, everyone else is your stereotypical actor that just wants to act. Zac Efron is all right but we never really get to know his character that well so it's difficult to really feel anything for him (or anyone else for that matter). A good effort but at the end doesn't really register.
