A passable remake, with Billy Bob essentially doing his 'Bad Santa' routine. Serves up a descent amount of laughs and it's fairly crass for a PG-13 rating.

Just an OK comedy - I vastly prefer the original version, though this one has its moments, it just doesn't have the same spirit.

Billy Bob Thorton is ideal for the role of the ornery, often drunk coach. Maybe a little edgier than the original, but still has laughs and an odd charm.
