Comedy in the vein of Anchorman and Step-Brothers, that is not quite as good as those, but still very funny. The film has a nice easy going, get in and get out feel to it, which hurts it in having staying power like Anchorman. Also, the scenes involving "serious" sub plots feel dry and take away from the "easy going" feeling, but there aren't too many of them. The jokes and gags work great, because of the talent of the actors. There are many funny banter and one-liners, but there aren't many that stick with you like in the two films I mentioned before. It may not have the lasting power of Anchorman, but it is still a really funny movie that anyone should check out. P.S. Will Ferrell's cameo is memorable. |
