I had recently watched the documentary 'I Am Alive: Surviving the Andes Plane Crash' which piqued my interest to catch this theatrical version on cable last night. This was actually a really good movie, the acting was middle of the road, with the exception of a young Ethan Hawke, whom I felt gave a notable performance. The crash scene and the overall scenery gave the movie great credibility and just the historical accuracies made it an emotional picture. I would definitely recommend taking the couple hours to watch it.

It was a very good movie. My sister tells me that there was a documentary made about a similar incident that was very interesting.

This story is an amazing tribute to the resilience of the human spirit. I just cannot believe what these people when through and that the actually survived. I kept thinking that I'm not sure I could have gone on. Quite moving.

An amazing film of survival that never takes the easy route, yet treats the subject with respect. Most people remember this for the cannibalism, but there is so much more to movie.

Wow, what a movie. This movie follows a group of travelers that gets stuck in the mountains and thier struggles to stay alive. This is one of thoes movies where you watch it one time and you would really have to be in a 'mood' to watch it again.
