Plot Outline:

A couple of friends are having trouble making ends meet when something happens. They decide the best way to solve the problem is to make a porno. This will get them the cash they need to survive. What are their true feelings. Maybe there is something more to their relationship than just friendship.

I'd like a double espresso..........

Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Banks) are two best friends since childhood and roommates who managed to keep their relationship totally platonic over the years that they've known each other. Cash-strapped and about to be evicted from their crappy little apartment, they find inspiration at a high school reunion from a gay couple (a hilarious Justin Long and Brandon Routh) to venture into the adult film business to make ends meet.

Zack secures finances from his coffee shop co-worker Delaney (Craig Robertson), and then begins casting, securing the likes of Lester (Jason Mewes), a stripper named Lacey (Katie Morgan), a 'specialist' named Bubbles (real life porn star Traci Lords) and an oddball named Barry (David Early). Zack and Miri Make a Porno review

Zack Brown (Seth Rogen) and Miriam "Miri" Linky (Elizabeth Banks) have been long time friends and roommates. Both struggle to pay the bills so they decide to make a porno movie. He asks assistance from his generous colleague Delaney (Craig Robinson). The rest of the crew includes a cameraman Deacon (Jeff Anderson), Lester (Jason Mewes), Stacey (Katie Morgan) and Bubbles (popular porn star Traci Lords). The flick had some laugh out loud sequences such Lester shooting from below unaware of what’s to come, auditions and the actual shooting. Soundtrack was descent and screenplay despite its vulgarity hit some points. The film could have been better without the cheesy. Raunchy Adult Comedy 'Screwed' By Love

Definetly not the best Smith movie. That's for sure. If only it took place in his viewaskewuniverse, I might have appreciated it more. No regular characters, but a couple of his regular actors appear. A couple jokes here and there definetly have Smith's sort of touch, while the rest feels like an Apatow comedy. The point to every Apatow is the same, and it's why I hate his movies. This movie feels of the type, with Smith trying to find a category people'll watch now.
