The title seemed cool, 2 of the best actors in their generation and a solid supporting cast and still it wasn't enough. Righteous Kill could have been good if it had better direction, cinematography, a catchy score and a decent screenplay. So many elements were gone, you hated De Niro's character for being so vulgar and still you don't feel any impact in the ending. This movie could have had potential. So many if's, such a waste of talent and people's time too. It was intriguing seeing them work together, too bad its the only reason your going to see this.

A decent rental movie if you like Pacino and DeNiro. They seem a little old, but at least the film is interesting and it has its moments.

Righteous Kill Review

This film was decent. It wasen't great I was expecting a lot more because of Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. But don't get me wrong Al Pacino and Robert De Niro played there parts to perfection they was great together I stayed interested in this movie just because of there performances. The supporting cast was ok nothing great they did ok with what they had to work with. Some scenes in this movie were great some were a bit lacked in my opinon. All in all I say watch this movie it will keep you guessing all the way till the end it delievers a shocking ending that hits hard you never see it coming. I think Robert De Niro steals the show in this one even though Al Pacino delievered a knockout performance. I still pick Robert De Niro as the best in this film. If your a big fan of Al Pacino and …

Righteous Kill me now

Righteous Kill is not the Godfather 2. It’s not Heat either. To be honest with you, it’s not even a good movie. But I liked it. Why? Because two of the most influential and greatest actors of all time are side by side on the big screen… for more than 5 minutes. Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. 14 Oscar Nominations. Masters of Method Acting. Kings of the gangster movie genre. Yeah you could say they’re washed up nowadays. They’re not as committed to roles as they have been in the past, their emotional range is limited, and they’ll take an easy paycheck over a gritty indie in a heart-beat. But seeing those two on screen together was not only nostalgic, it was entertaining. Sure the storyline is a giant clusterf*#k, and there are more plot-holes than a Michael Bay movie, …

Yeah I agree.  It looks like they just made a movie to bring the two back together - this time as friends for the first time.  Anyone seen any reviews for it yet?

The mere plot sounds mediocre at best, certainly unnecessary that Al Pacino AND Robert DeNiro need to both be in the film. Makes me wonder what the true intent is here...

Were there any pre-screeners for it.  I can't find any reviews out there.

I'm still trying to figure out if I should see this movie. I guess it's worth a try.
