An all-American FBI agent goes undercover as a commie to thwart Soviet agents aiming to cause social unrest in 1950s Pittsburgh. It's cartoonishly jingoistic and ultra-patriotic. But that is a big part of what makes it fun to watch.

A man has to become a Communist for his job. He is shunned by society when they find out that he's a supposed commy. But then he's hailed as a hero at the end.
