I didn't think any film could do justice to Elizabeth Wurtzel's autobiography. I was wrong. This film is incredible and captures the essence of the books almost perfectly. Christina Ricci really shows what she can do, in fact, it's almost impossible to separate the portrayed Wurtzel from the original. A lovely film. I think it could be redone into a longer, darker version, but Christina Ricci would have to be re-cast. |
