A larger-than-life adaptation of the far superior Disney cartoon. There's a lot more exaggerated slapstick humor here that sometimes works, because of the commitment of actors Glenn Close and Jeff Daniels, but never really rises above a certain level of intelligence. It's fun at times, but ultimately feels flat.

The less i say about it the better really. For kids, i'm sure its a blast but for adults, its just unspectacular.
