Plot Outline:

A man with no social mores is released from prison. He none-the-less tries to contact the family of the victim only to be rebuffed, but not before he sees Gong-ju - a young woman with cerebral palsy. Both of these outcasts are mistreated by their families and they connect on a personal level. Can the two find a connection in world that has dealt them such misery? -- Chris Kavan

It takes a bold director to employ a rape scene as metamorphosis; and it requires a gifted one to evoke warmth, hope and bittersweet whimsy from the resultant relationship.
