Catherine Deneuve is wonderful in this movie. Not to be missed if you are a Francois Truffaut follower.

Catherine Deneuve is superb as the cold, calculating women in this film.

A drearily overlong drama of repression and love that never seems to get any of its points across; though certainly anything involving Belmondo, Deneuve and Truffaut has its interests, they're too few and far between here. Final Grade: C
